Welcome

The Cowboy Way To Christ

Service is on Tuesday at 7pm

Located inside the Enid Livestock Market Building – 5 miles west of Enid on Highway412

Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church started in October 2003 with a handful of folks, and we now average around 125 people per week!  God has been very good to us and our gatherings have been an enormous blessing in so many lives. We’d love for you to join us. It’s nothing fancy ~ our motto is “cowboy and cowgirl up and come as you are!” We promise you will have a good time as we share the word of God, and enjoy great singers. We do things a little different for sure…

We have a bucket hanging at the entrance rather than passing an offering plate. We have baptisms in a stock tank during our services.  Oh ~ and another big difference between the Chisholm Trail Cowboy Church and most other places of worship is that our services are held in a building that is home to a livestock auction during weekdays.

Just like the farmer who plants seed for an abundant harvest, our principal task is to Plant the seeds of salvation. We accept the God-given responsibility of “speaking the truth in love” and strive for the growth of the church and glory of the Lord, rather than the praise and honor of men. salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of the redemption of Jesus Christ, the merit of His shed blood, and not on the basis of human merit or works.

We believe the Holy Bible is the verbally inspired word of God, containing a total of 66 books, 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament.

We believe that every word from the first word of Genesis to the last word of Revelations is true, complete, and error free. That there is nothing missing or corrupted, and that the Bible is a complete instruction and operating Manuel for all Mankind.

We believe there is only one true and living God and that He is the maker and supreme ruler of the heavens and the earth and worthy of all praise and Glory.

We believe in the Triune God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal. Each has an individual identity and separate  responsibilities for the purposes of redemption, yet they are perfectly united as three Persons in One.

We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ. We believe He is the only begotten, virgin born Son of God, the 2nd Person in the Trinity, God the Son, and God manifest in the flesh.

We believe in the substitutionary atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ. He, by the grace of God, tasted death for all mankind, and all must be born again or be forever lost.

Even though Jesus was sinless He took all of our sins and shed His precious blood on an old rugged tree for us. He arose again on the third day and presently sits in heaven with the Father.

We believe that Mankind was made by God, complete, perfect, and sinless. We believe that they were deceived and sinned in the Garden of Eden. The consequence of that action is that all mankind is born into sin and therefore they need a savior.

We believe that in order to be saved, sinners be born again. In John 3:3 Jesus Christ said that you must be born again to see heaven. By Grace through faith sinners can be born again. We believe that the instant a sinner accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior they become a new creation in Christ and recipient of Eternal Life.

We believe that those who have trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior should be baptized in water by immersion. Baptism does not atone for sin. Only he

blood of Jesus can save us from sin. Water baptism is a picture of what transpired when we placed our faith and trust in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ to save us from our sins.

About our pastor

Kelly Cronkhite grew up on a cattle ranch north west of Watonga OK. While Kelly (Kel) had a plan of continuing the ranch operation, God had a different plan. His Father, Kelly Sr. was directed by God to build a teaching center on the corner of the ranch. Kelly Sr. and Pat built the “Glory Barn” in 1977 and though Kelly Sr. passed away suddenly just before it opened, Kelly’s mom Pat Cronkhite continued the vision for many years and touched countless lives. The impact of their obedience is still seen today. It was there in the “Glory Barn” that God instilled in Kelly a faith and calling to go and preach the gospel. It was also there that he preached his first sermon and began ministry.

Kelly answered the call to ministry in 1989 and began to teach and minister in 1990 and has continued to teach and preach ever since. He and his wife Sue Summers Cronkhite were married in 1986 and have 4 children.

He has served as a youth pastor, associate pastor, and senior pastor before launching High Call Ministries. God has used Kelly and Sue to restore several rural and cowboy churches which were in decline or struggling.

Their ministry, High Call Ministries, was established to take the gospel of Jesus Christ to the Rural America and cowboy culture. Kelly’s upbeat and encouraging message will strengthen and challenge you to live an overcoming life and walk in victory daily.

They also have a cow/calf operation on family land south of Nash, OK.
